Meet the team – Georgine

What ideas do you have for Transform?

I’m looking forward to getting stuck into all the exciting projects Transform have coming up, as well as learning from such a talented team!

3 things we should know about you…

• I drag my husband up a mountain on my birthdays. Scafell Pike is this year’s climb
• There’s little I won’t do for the right amount of chocolate
• I’m currently learning Dutch on Duolingo – Ik hou van Holland!

What do you do for fun?

Drawing has always helped me de-stress. I used to sell prints at craft fairs and do commissions, but then it became too much like work so now I doodle for myself in the evenings.

What do you enjoy listening to?

I enjoy the radio and the general hubbub of the office. If my headphones are on, expect punk rock or house music, basically anything with a strong beat to power me through the day.

What are you reading?

I just finished The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman, a fab book about a group of OAPs in a retirement village trying to solve a local murder. And I’ve started Chavs: The Demonization of the Working Class by Owen Jones. I like to alternate between fiction and non-fiction to keep my brain on its toes!

Describe your ideal workplace in one word…

What attracted you to working in digital marketing?

I love telling a brand’s story through its visuals. There’s nothing more satisfying about being able to convey a company’s message through a beautifully crafted image or logo.

What’s your favourite form of communication?

In-person and small groups all the way. The virtual life isn’t for me as you miss out on the subtle visual and audio ticks people have when on a screen or over the phone.
